Who we are
Botanicoir has a reputation for providing high quality cocopeat and coir products to the horticulture industry. Our products are 100% natural and organic. In order to guarantee a premium quality product whilst ensuring delivery targets, a continuous and ample supply of coir pith is required. This is why we have based our factory in the heart of the coconut triangle region of Sri Lanka. Our factory’s proximity to some of the largest coco mills in the country guarantees that we are in an ideal position to offer a consistent supply to our customers.
Superior Quality
We take great care to ensure that our customers receive the best quality cocopeat. Botanicoir products are consistently monitored at every stage of the production process, from the time of raw material sourcing to the time the finished product leaves our factory in Sri Lanka.
It is important to note however that cocopeat comes in various grades, and can actually be detrimental to plant growth if it contains salt residues from poor processing. To assure our customers do not experience this problem, we have adopted a rigorous manufacturing process. Once we have sourced our raw material from selective mills, it is then progressively washed with fresh water from a natural spring to reduce the EC (electric conductivity) level and other impurities. The cocopeat is then heat treated, screened and graded before being processed by Botanicoir into various cocopeat products for horticulturists worldwide.
At Botanicoir, we assure a moisture level of < 20% for all our cocopeat products. We also maintain a Ph between 5.4 - 6.8 and an EC level of < 1.0 ms/cm.
