Available formats
Precision Start is supplied in dehydrated, compressed blocks which are easy to transport and store. It is available in three formats:
- Propagation BotaniCubes contained with decomposable netting
- Bulk 5kg block 60 litre bales, with 5:1 compressed dehydration (60 litres in capacity when expanded)
- Mini bales (180L) with light 2:1 compressed dehydration

Precision start has optimum:
- Electrical Conductivity (EC) which is <0.3 ms/cm for buffered products when using 1:1.5 method
- pH of 5.6 – 6.8
- Air Filled Porosity (AFP) 25 – 35%
- Water Holding Capacity (WHC) 65 – 75%

Precise buffering and calcium enriched
The coir is and fully washed and buffered, meaning unwanted salts are removed and it’s clean and sterile, with very little Electrical Conductivity (EC). The elevated calcium levels support the growth of new plant tissue.
Optimum Air Filled Porosity (AFP)
The material has consistent air-filled porosity throughout, giving plants the right levels of oxygen for superior rooting.
