With super washing, the coir is doubled washed, flushing water through the coir to exchange salts and adjust the EC (Electrical Conductivity) levels to match specific plants.

What does Super Washing do?
Super Washed Coir has been processed twice to provide a substrate with even lower salt levels than Washed Coir.
This super washing process removes 40-45% of the salts and our high production standards ensure these levels are consistent throughout the whole substrate.
Salt at the wrong levels in the growing substrate could impact the growth of the plant and ultimately impact the yield of your crop. The super washing process means you get a growing medium perfect for your plants.
